Madam, – My job takes me all over the city in my car, and as I travel about I note with some joy that most parties and candidates in the recent election have managed to remove their posters from our lampposts, telegraph poles and traffic signs.
Strangely, I noticed a few contenders have yet to get out with a ladder and join the enthusiasm for cleaning up after the event. Posters for Cyprian Brady, Mary Fitzpatrick and (in my own constituency) Maria Corrigan have all caught my eye in the last day alone. I wonder if there is a connection between these three candidates? – Yours, etc,
