Sir, Richard Flynn's letter of May 20th concerning the destruction of sea trout by infestations of sea lice emanating from salmon farms is indeed as predictable as the cuckoo returning in Spring.
Sadly, there is one unfortunate difference: while we welcome the call of the cuckoo as a harbinger of summer, Mr Flynn's calls are the all too familiar cry of one who lives in cloud cuckoo land and attempts to defend the indefensible on behalf of a dangerous and destructive industry. Yours, etc.,
