Sir, – Must we really sell the rights to fell the trees in the State forests (Home News, February 26th)?
Have primary school children not been asked for better, more innovative proposals to leverage our State assets? I am confident they would deliver better ideas for generating revenue, along with creating lots of jobs. Ideas that would keep the troika happy.
They might also be able to calculate the (50 to 80 years) future value of €1.8 billion for Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney (Michael Viney, Weekend Review, December 15th) – Yours, etc,
