Sir, – Hospital consultants have sued the Government for breach of contract and will now be rewarded with extraordinary pay increases.
Since consultants consider their contracts to be sacrosanct and insist every aspect be rigorously adhered to, then the Government must respond in kind.
Even the most minor breach of contract regarding public versus private work must be pursued relentlessly by the State, if necessary to the High Court. – Yours, etc,
