Sir, - What a heartening message of hope, peace and love in Angela McNamara's letter of November 15th where she writes: "It is neither good nor necessary that we live in fear rather than in faith".
This is a welcome antidote to the gloom and despair engendered by the recent terrorist attacks. We badly need the comforting reassurance that God is still in control of God's world.
"So shines a good deed in a naughty world".
