Sir, - I refer to the letter from the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, John O'Donoghue, TD (August 7th), concerning Fintan O'Toole's Opinion piece of the previous day.
In the second paragraph Mr O'Donoghue objects to what he sees as "name-calling and personal abuse" in the article, and then proceeds to do exactly the same to Mr O'Toole in the very next paragraph.
The phrase "the pot calling the kettle black" springs to mind. - Yours, etc.,
