Madam, – Further to Liam Reid’s letter (October 6th). My letter (October 2nd) was a direct quote from the Act, therefore any “inaccurate impression” comes from the Act.
The Government would need to amend the Act to include the words “does not apply to personal private properties of Government Ministers”. Otherwise it might lead to an “inaccurate impression” that Ministers do not have to pay when others do – that would be unthinkable. – Yours, etc,
