JOE LENIHAN,

Collins Avenue West,

Dublin 9.

Madam, – Senator David Norris is the strongest candidate, especially when one considers that, measured against all the other names being bandied about, he is the only one who, standing beside Queen Elizabeth, would make her look a bit common. – Yours, etc,

Stillorgan

Co Dublin.

I cannot think of more suitable candidates. – Yours, etc,

VERA HUGHES,

Moate,

Co Westmeath.

BRENDAN BUFFINI,

Maidstone,

Kent,

England.

Madam, – Michael D Higgins would be a breath of fresh air. Roll on the 2011 presidential election!
