Madam, - Readers of a certain age must be bemused by finding the Beatles featuring in the Leaving Cert, remembering the days when "pop" music was highly disapproved of at school. Even "crooning" (yes, by Bing Crosby) was frowned upon and Elvis was best not mentioned.
