Sir, - Now that the EU foreign Ministers have announced that they will ignore the democratic wishes of the Irish people and proceed, regardless, with the ratification of the Nice Treaty, I presume the Taoiseach, on our behalf, will use his veto.
If he has not the gumption for this course of action I can only conclude that the Government is led by a "waffler". - Yours, etc.,
