Sir, – Now that the country has a little money, I would request that the national museums and cultural institutions be kept open until 6pm. The extra hour would greatly facilitate tourists and those people who do not get up at 7am.
Most of the overtime money required would be spent by the staff in Ireland, so the net cost to the exchequer would be negligible. – Yours, etc,
