Sir, - Recently, for the first time in many years, I drove on the motorway from Dublin to Kildare. As my vehicle is a high one, I had a splendid view of the great variety of litter on both sides. It was disgusting.
Would the relevant county managers inform the public why this is the case, or do they just not notice the Third World fringes to their impressive highways? - Yours, etc.,
