Sir, – Either you accept the restoration of four houses as an adequate memorial to events in Moore Street in 1916 or you sense that a huge opportunity is being lost (Frank McDonald, "Terms have already been agreed in the battle for 'Ireland's Alamo'", Opinion & Analysis, January 22nd).
Those fighting for this real battlefield site deplore the lack of vision, the failure to appreciate the unique historic trail that could be created, and the mantra of “development”. It is Wood Quay all over again. – Yours, etc,
