Madam, - I spent a few very enjoyable days in Dublin last week and was glad to see that its people - both native and immigrant - are as courteous and lively as ever. It is a great city.
But I was astonished to see that the Luas trams and stations were awash with litter, mainly free newspapers.
How can people - travellers and transport authorities - allow this to happen? - Yours, etc,
