Madam, - The title of Thomas Moore's melody is indeed Believe Me If All Those Endearing Young Charms. Since I am familiar with it from childhood, when on a particular occasion I heard my grandmother, Elizabeth Casey, perform the song at the piano in Co Limerick, I was delighted to have the opportunity to include it in the selection of music on last week's Sunday Miscellany.
