Madam, – The doctors were very pleased with the general health of the 33 Chilean miners who were trapped for 70 days.
Their most common complaint was toothache; while 31 were released from hospital very quickly, two were detained for the treatment of dental pathology.
The moral of the story could be that dental health should not be neglected.
Hopefully this will come to the attention of our Ministers for Health and Social Welfare, who have been decimating the dental services of this nation. – Yours, etc,
