Sir, - I totally disagree with Robert O'Byrne regarding the colour black (July 26th). Black is always chic, smart, elegant, but certainly never boring. Black can enhance a person's appearance, leaving the slightly heavier figure looking quite slim. A lady in black is the essence of sophistication and always a winner. - Yours, etc.,
