Sir, - Commentators on this subject should note the following. Amhran na Bhfiann is the National Anthem of the Republic. The Republic does not have an international rugby team. Instead we participate in a rugby team for the whole island that is above any political division. Why would we want to use a very political anthem that only applies to one half of that division?
