Sir, – For many years now, whenever there is an article in your newspaper about pensioners, you present the same photo of extremely gnarled and discoloured hands that are folded and lying passively in someone's lap ("Over 35,000 pensioners hit by cuts of up to ¤1,500, says report", February 9th).
Is that your view of all the thousands of pensioners who are leading active and busy lives and contributing to the wellbeing of this country ?
I am sure your journalists would have no trouble finding a few non-ageist images if they bothered looking. – Yours, etc,
