Sir, - When I read the report on the new Tallaght hospital (October 5th), stating that its Protestant ethos would be preserved and that its charter specified "an essentially religious and Protestant institution", I immediately turned to the leader page in the expectation of reading a thundering denunciation (similar to that accorded to Archbishop Connell recently when he restated the Catholic ethos of other hospitals in the city). But not a word not even a cheep.
I wonder why? Yours, etc.,
