Sir, – It seems odd that when the country is suffering from drought, Met Éireann often reports “dry conditions with a risk of isolated showers”. The only risk I would be delighted to take, should it rain, is being arrested for dancing outside without any item from my wardrobe on me. – Yours, etc,
