Heart attacks and sport

Madam, - It took many years to have seatbelts for cars, lifejackets for boats and fire extinguishers for offices. Now why not make defibrillators (and the presence of trained personnel) compulsory for all sporting clubs, events and premises?

More people have died from heart attacks during sporting activities than clubhouses have burnt down. One single fund-raising event would easily take care of the cost involved. Grants could also be made available. - Yours, etc,
