Madam, – In refusing to bow to censorship or the totalitarian regime of a nation which claims to be an “open and transparent democracy”, Google should be congratulated.

China would do well to take heed of Google’s stance – to be truly open is to have the right to believe and to think what one wants to, a notion that I am sure is not wasted upon the men and women who populate the Chinese government. – Yours, etc,
