Sir, - Will somebody, somewhere give those self-appointed, so-called "Eco Warriors" a job? They went to the courts and lost. They went for an appeal and lost and could be seen hugging and weeping over some ivy-choked, dying trees.
My God, they're a sad bunch. Work has commenced - and may I say vital work - on the new stretch of road which no doubt will save the lives of men, women and children alike, and who appears climbing up the trees again like a bunch of spoiled children only the people who care more about dying trees than for their own mankind?
For God's sake come down out of the clouds and smell the heather - and get a job. - Yours, etc.,
