Sir, - Kevin Myers' contribution of July 15th is magnificent. He really got my imagination going when he wrote that he believed that "feminist laws have been incorporated into our legislation, feminist perceptions and feminist bias are now part of our legal culture."
And it got better. He also mentioned "triumph of feminism in the media and the imposition of the feminist agenda." If only, ah, if only it were true, housewives would be among the top 10 per cent of earners in the country, mothers with buggies would be flocking to tribunals to explain the receipt of brown envelopes and foreign bank accounts. Not only that, but cleaning ladies would be crowding out the golf club bars and every board of directors would insist on having its own creche. - Yours, etc.,
