Sir Mr Enda Kenny, TD, in his article on tourism (February 18th) is surely disingenuous when he claims that he will continue his fundamental role with all sectors of the tourism industry.
His remarks on his handling of the national conference centre are entirely misleading. The fact is that the promoters of the O'Connell Street conference centre have been forced to lodge a complaint against the Irish Government in relation to its conduct of the tendering procedures for the award of community funds for the design and construction of a national convention centre in Ireland.
