A chara, - I would like to respond to Mattie Lennon (December 30th) by saying that a return to robberies, beatings and muggings is not the only alternative to the current Dublin Bus refund system.
One simple improvement would be to allow customers to use their refund tickets to pay future fares. This would require no extra equipment, would not involve drivers handling cash and would be greatly appreciated by passengers. - Is mise,
