DISPUTE OVER REFUSE CHARGES

DAVID DOYLE,

DAVID DOYLE,

Madam, - I live in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown where our councillors are in danger of being ousted by central Government over increases in refuse collection charges. I think it is time to support our local councillors by informing the Minister and his colleagues, our local TDs, that we intend to support our local councillors. If the Minister abolishes the council and imposes the increased charges with a manager, we should not pay then.

Central government has removed power from local government and I believe this is the way we the people can take back the power that belongs to us in the first place. - Yours, ETC.,

DAVID DOYLE,
