A chara, - It was encouraging to read Sean Kilfeather's recent article about the GAA and the developments at Croke Park. Unlike so much negative criticism and comment (another £2 million into the pockets of the GAA, Croke Park must now be made available to soccer, etc.), Sean's article was a positive, joyous celebration of the GAA.

Unhappily, he appears to be following the GAA's policy of now calling the Cusack Stand "the New Stand". Is Cusack to be written out? And what a colourless, anodyne title "New Stand" is it could be anywhere, it could be any code.

When the developments at Croke Park are finished, will the GAA name it "The New Park? "Go bhfoirigh Dia orainn. - Is mise, le meas,
