Madam, – Ann Young (December 5th) beat me to it. I too received a Christmas card from the same local Fianna Fáil TD. That very day, I received word that the Department of Education sees fit to reduce the number of special needs assistants in my son’s school to a dangerously low pre-tiger level. This TD will only know me from my appeals to him for a fair education for my son and those like him who have autism and learning disability. Those appeals fell on deaf ears. He will be remembered for his ability to provide nothing of consequence in this, except rhetoric about resources. His Christmas wishes are lame. Would returning this unsolicited mail via local clinics get the message across? – Yours, etc,
