CARRICKMINES CASTLE

SEAN DUFFY FTCD,

SEAN DUFFY FTCD,

Madam, - The National Roads Authority and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council tell us that they did not know how important Carrickmines Castle was when they decided to put a motorway through it. So, they spent €6 million (they claim) excavating it in order to find out the castle's importance.

Now that they've found out how important the castle is they tell us it's time to destroy it. Am I missing something here? - Yours etc.,
