Madam, - President Bush (World News, September 9th) again alludes to "the civilised world". I'm not sure what he means.
Could he define this "civilised world" for us and, by inference, the parameters of the uncivilised world? I don't know what Mr Bush's background is in such disciplines as geography, history, cultural anthropology or cartography, but a map would be useful, grey areas included. - Yours, etc.,
