Sir, - On the same day that AIB announced its £2 million-a-day profit, I discovered they had taken £63 from my account during July. When I contacted the bank I was told it was a mistake (not theft!) and they would return my money. This the third "mistake" in 12 months.
I hope AIB will adjust its interim results downwards to take account of my refund! - Yours, etc., Joan Byrne
