Sir, – I am researching the depiction of Dublin city by visual artists in the period c.1920-1950. Artists in this research are, among others, George Collie (1904-75), Josephine Carson (dates unknown), Harry Kernoff (1900-74) and Estella Solomons (1882-1968). These artists were exhibiting widely during this time with groups such as the Watercolour Society of Ireland, the Royal Hibernian Academy and the Dublin Sketching Club.
