An article in yesterday’s edition of HEALTHplus, concerning the cervical cancer vaccine, stated that “each year in Ireland around 250 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer and 80 die from the disease. At least 70 of these cases are linked to Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)”. It should have read 70 per cent.
