An article in yesterday’s edition, about a press conference organised by the Dublin Council of Trade Unions, misnamed the council’s president. He is Michael OReilly.

An article in last Saturday’s edition, concerning the captain of the 1905 All-Blacks, Dave Gallagher, referred to the battle of Passchendaele in the second World War. It was in the first World War. The error occured in the editing process.

The obituary of Trevor West in last Saturday’s edition made reference to a Trinity College sporting personality Denis Coulson. This should have read Denis Cussen who set an Irish record for the 100 yards and won 15 Irish rugby caps.
