A picture caption in Wednesday’s edition was incorrect. The picture taken at Cork City Council’s archives included Cllr Lorraine Kingston and not assistant archivist Claire Murphy as stated.
In a report of proceedings of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture carried yesterday, some comments by Prof Patrick Wall of UCD on the dioxin crisis, including his view on risks, a pathogen database and a reference laboratory, were incorrectly attributed to former minister of state Ned O’Keeffe. The error occurred in the editing process.
