A report headed "Inclusion of Hyde's private files among the surprise releases" in Thursday's editions said Douglas Hyde was forced out of the presidency of the Gaelic League in 1915 by the advanced nationalists and was replaced by Padraig Pearse. In fact, the president of the Gaelic League after Hyde was Eoin Mac Neill, who was elected in 1916.
