Six Nations:Allen Clarke has made two changes to his Irish under-20s side as ahead of their championship defining Six Nations game against Scotland at Dubarry Park in Athlone (7.35pm).

Wing Simon Zebo returns to the left side following an injury to Darren Hudson, while Eoin Griffin replaces Brendan Macken at outside centre.

Ireland are level on points with England at the top of the table with the relatively meagre 17-point advantage on their nearest challengers, who face France in Saint Nazaire on Saturday.

Clarke, however, has done everything in his power to ensure his players are solely focused on Friday and on “things which we can control”.

“In simple terms, respecting the opposition in preparing for another test match with the same diligence, concentration and desire to improve individually and collectively..,” he said today.

"The mood in the camp is good and there is a real sense of desire to deliver the required performance in what will be another tough encounter against Scotland"

Women's coach Kevin West has made three changes for their final game of their championship after last week’s impressive 18-3 win over Wales.

Hooker Gillian Bourke gets the nod in the frontrow, while Sinead Ryan comes in at the blindside of the backrow.

In the backs, Old Belvedere’s Nora Stapleton is set to start on the left wing.

West’s side is currently third ahead of the Scotland game, two points adrift of France and four behind leaders England.

A win would ensure third in the championship but they will need to rack up the points against Scotland in Ashbourne (7.30pm) to have any hope of overhauling France.
