A young man collapsed in the Irish Film Centre, Dublin, yesterday and died later. Mr Rory Kavanagh (26), Taylor's Hill, Galway, had complained of feeling unwell before he collapsed. Efforts were made to resuscitate him, but he was dead on admission to the Meath Hospital.
Gardai could not confirm reports last night that he and a friend had each taken half an Ecstasy tablet before going to the IFC. A post mortem will be carried out today.
