The funeral took place in Limerick yesterday of FCA Cpl Suzanne McGrath (20), who died after she collapsed in a Dublin nightclub last weekend. The funeral Mass was concelebrated Mass in St Joseph's church, Ballybrown.
There was a wreath from the third Air Defence Battery at Sarsfield Barracks, Limerick, to which she was attached. Many of her colleagues from the FCA and the Army were present.
Cpl McGrath, who lived in Raheen, was pronounced dead at the Mater Hospital on Monday after she had collapsed in the Temple Theatre in Temple Bar. She is survived by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Gardai said the results of the post mortem would not be released until the inquest.
