A 20-month old baby boy was killed when he was struck by a reversing van near the Red Cow roundabout this afternoon.
The boy was removed to Tallaght hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The Gardai at Clondalkin are investigating the incident which took place shortly after 1.30pm.
