Dwight Yorke's future at Manchester United could be in question after club director Sir Bobby Charlton allegedly questioned his commitment.

Charlton reportedly told the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation the 29-year-old striker was "making it difficult for Alex Ferguson to use his services".

The federation's chief Jack Warner, who is also vice-president of FIFA, claimed Yorke's behaviour has worried the champions.

Warner said: "Sir Bobby has asked me twice in the past week for Dwight Yorke to call him.

"He felt Dwight was making it difficult for Alex Ferguson to use his services and, in this process, is ruining his career."

The revelations come at the end of a disappointing season for Yorke, who has been criticised for his off-field lifestyle.

And only this week he ended his international career after being hit by a one-game ban by Trinidad after he turned up late for their friendly against Panama.
