Eclipse night tomorrow will be celebrated in Sligo with gourmet food and a performance of two of Yeats's one-act plays, The Cat and the Moon and Purgatory.
The event is being organised by the Yeats Theatre Company and will run for four nights to Saturday at a special marquee erected beside the Hawk's Well Theatre.
Mr Seamus O'Connell, from the Ivory Tower Restaurant, Cork, who is rated as one of the top five chefs in Ireland, will prepare the meal to accompany the drama. The evening will also be interspersed with readings and traditional music by artists including Pat McCabe and Seamus Tansey.
