Roy Essandoh scored a dramatic injury-time winner to send Second Division Wycombe into the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

The Wanderers substitute headed home in the second minute of time added on to stun Peter Taylor's high-flying Premiership side.

There was a dramatic start to the second half as Wycombe went in in front with a headed goal.

Steve Brown sent over a free-kick, and skipper Paul McCarthy stooped to send his header wide of Simon Royce and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.

The 3,000-plus Wycombe fans went wild with delight and their side had already made a positive start to the second half with Ryan sending a glancing header across the face of goal.

But Wanderers started to tire after their Trojan efforts and after 67 minutes Leicester got back on level terms.

Gerry Taggart made good ground forward before finding substitute Darren Eadie in space on the left flank and his low cross was turned into the roof of the net by Izzet.

Izzet then presented Akinbiyi with a golden chance to put Leicester ahead when he sent him clear of the Wycombe defence _ but Taylor came out to block.

It proved to be costly as with only 90 seconds left Essandoh sent the visitors into dreamland. - PA
