Colombo - A woman suicide bomber destroyed a police truck in northern Sri Lanka yesterday, killing at least 13 elite commandos and a civilian, as officials sought public help to solve another suicide bombing.
The woman, who set off the bomb near a police Special Task Force truck at Veppankulam in Vavuniya district, was also killed in the massive blast that left the remaining 18 commandos seriously wounded, local officials said.
