A WOMAN who awoke to find a heroin addict ransacking her bedroom ran from her house and called the gardai, who caught him inside, the Dublin District Court heard yesterday.
Michael Ryan (28), of Moateview Gardens, Coolock, Dublin 17, pleaded guilty to the burglary and other offences committed between March and June this year. He was jailed for 15 months.
Garda Ray Stapleto of Store Street station told the court how on June 20th Ryan head butted a man on Memorial Road Dublin.
The court heard Ryan had been addicted to heroin for several years.
