The body of a woman has been found in a house in Tralee, Co Kerry.
The body of a woman aged in her 20s, was discovered in a house in the Deerpark Estate area of the town.
The State Pathologist's office has been informed and the garda technical bureau has also been notified. The body remains at the scene and the scene is currently preserved.
Neighbours said the house was being rented by a Polish woman — named locally as Katarzyna Bartowiakand her Nigerian partner and their son aged two and a half .
Ms Bartowiak had lived in Ireland since 2006.
