A Donegal woman appeared before Letterkenny District Court yesterday afternoon on charges of aggravated burglary at the home of 84 year old Mr Willie Harrigan on May 9th, last. Ms Margaret McCole (41), Magherard, Drung, Quigley's Point, a mother of six, was arrested at her home yesterday morning and brought to Buncrana Garda station where she was charged.
The part time hospital worker and farmer's wife was further charged with entering the home of Mr Harrigan in possession of a hammer. She was remanded on her husband's bail of £5,000 on condition that she did not go near the premises or person of Mr Harrigan, also of Magherard, Drung. She was remanded to appear in Buncrana District Court on June 13th.
