A woman aged in her 30s has died following a collision in Co Carlow yesterday evening.
The collision involving two cars occurred at about 7.25pm at Leagh, Rathoe, which is 12 km away from Carlow town.
The sole occupant of one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the second car were taken to Kilkenny hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The Carlow to Wexford road was closed for a short time for a forensic investigation but has since reopened.
